Confirmed and Discuss on the emails

To All my Members,

I received this note today on my discussion yesterday with the RCMP about some misunderstandings that l received and also why we were not receiving any fanouts.

Bonny Swart-Attwood, SRCWA

It was nice meeting you yesterday

I did some digging and can confirm that a Break & Enter occurred on July 5 in the Riverstone Point area.

On July 11, there was an Armed Robbery committed in Pinnacle Ridge Estates.

Both these investigations are actively being looked into.

RCMP want to remind residents to keep doors locked and closed whether you are home or not.

Because the investigations are ongoing, I cannot release too many details.

I have also sent a message out to the detachment members to remind them to include Sturgeon Rural Crime Watch with fan outs when an incident occurs.

If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to get in touch with me.

Thanks,

Please remove the claim that this is a Fraud. There is no Fraudulent intent in the email, nor is it fake news, it was forwarded to you for information so you could verify it with your local RCMP. On top of that, the information you got from the supposed resident that checked around is COMPLETELY wrong. The Edmonton Police have now arrested 3 individuals for one of these Crimes. Both crimes did happen. I even know the name of one of the victims. If you can’t get confirmation from your RCMP sources then I am fine with you removing the email I originally forwarded to you, I didn’t expect you to post if without verifying it with your Police contacts in the first place, but if you leave it up and tagged as a fraud there will be further repercussions.

To Everyone,

I have received this email to indicate the July 13 armed robbery that happen in the River Stone, Pinnacle Ridge area is not a FRAUD it actually happened, so l will take it back with the RCMP and have them look at the post from July 13 incident and have it clarified. Thank you Dean for updated this issue

I just got this email from a neighbor. I wanted to find out if the information is true as there is nothing on the news, your website or the police reports about this. If there are armed invaders breaking into houses while people are there in the middle of the day it would be nice to know about it. Thanks for any info or exposure you can provide.

Hi everyone!  I wanted to inform you all of some very scary and concerning activities that have happened close to us in the past week.
Last Tuesday at 3 in the afternoon my brother's in laws, who live in Riverstone, were robbed by 5 armed gun men. His father in law was working in the garage with the overhead door open. He went into the house for 10min to take a break.  His security camera showed a car reverse into the driveway and 5 armed men entered the house through the open garage. The home owner was in the basement and didn't even know he had been robbed. The men were in and out in 5 minutes!
Yesterday afternoon a man was working in his garage in Pinnacle Ridge. Three armed men drove up in a truck, jumped out and robbed him at gun point!
Please be very cautious about leaving your over head garage doors open. Serious

Thank you
