The Sturgeon Rural Crime Watch Association has received the 2026 Famers Advocate Award of Excellence in the amount of $1000 for efforts to encourage positive behaviour with youth, while promoting awareness of unlawful activity. This was accomplished with a Positive Ticketing Campaign that helps build safer communities by bolstering civic-mindedness and increasing trust between law enforcement and young members of the local communities.
SRCWA is an all-volunteer, community-based service organization working in partnership with the RCMP and Enforcement Services. Our focus is on a safer rural community.
