SRCWA #2015110 - Mailbox Break In/Theft

Morinville RCMP have received numerous reports in the last week of community mailboxes being broken into, and possible theft of mail.  Suspects are targeting community mailboxes which are in rural areas and not easily visible by nearby residents.  Suspects are quick and have been hitting numerous mailboxes per night.

With this being the holiday season and numerous gifts and packages being delivered by mail, residents are reminded to pickup their mail daily.

If anybody has any information on possible suspects, they are encouraged to call the Morinville RCMP at 780-939-4550, or they can call anonymously Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
