On January 16th, 2017, Morinville RCMP received a report of a break and enter into a residence on Range Road 261 just North of Secondary Highway 651, in Sturgeon County. The victim returned home to find the glass on their front door smashed in to gain entry. Their wedding ring, other jewelry, and electronics had been taken.
Police believe the break in happened between 11:30 am and 2:30 pm.
