SRCWA Message #201596 - Shotgun Assault

Subject: Shotgun Assault

On November 16th, 2015 at around 11:30 am two dogs, a young chocolate lab and a Husky, went missing from a residence in Shil Shol Estates near Calahoo, Alberta. Shortly after noon, the Husky returned home with injuries to it's face. After visiting the vet, the owners learned that the dog had been shot in the face with what appeared to be a shotgun. The young chocolate lab has not returned home. The RCMP are looking for the public's assistance in finding out if something criminal happened to the dogs. Anyone with information please contact the Morinville RCMP at 780-939-4520.
